Climate Alliance of Himalayan Communities makes an appeal
Climate Alliance of Himalayan Communities (CAHC) acts as a common platform for the members of the Himalayan communities across Nepal. In the wake of the earthquake, CAHC is quickly expanding the network of community leaders in some of the unrepresented districts and has issued an Appeal in the public.
The members of the Board had a meeting at its office in Baluwatar to plan on how to take forward the earthquake relief and rehabilitation work in the earthquake affected Himalayan regions. CAHC will be working collectively with its implementing partner HCI whcih will support the relief work providing its volunteers from the pool. It's Rastra Pahile National Volunteers will work shoulder to shoulder with Nepal Army, Nepal Police and other government organizations to provide help to the earthquake affected parts of Nepal.
Members discussed and decided to make their efforts either by providing help in rehabilitation and reconstruction work by coloecting and shipping the relief materials at CAHC office or by helping in gathering moneytary aid.
